    '66 Newport 2 Door hardtop

After successfully repairing the leaky rear window channel, I got my newly refurbished package tray installed. I used a piece of marine canvas that was UV resistant, mildew resistant, everything resistant, and it matched the color of the interior perfectly.

Best molded hood insulation out right now?

The hood "insulator" might be perceived to be engine noise attenuating, but the old-line Chrysler service manager said it's real benefit was to keep the paint on the top of the hood from being "burnt off" from engine heat. I had never considered that, at the time. Due to their "molded nature"...

Best molded hood insulation out right now?

I can’t comment on the quality of the hood pads except to say that they are very fragile and friends have had the corners damaged during shipping. My recommendation is to buy from a vendor that can deliver the hood pad to Carlisle or the Nats so that you can inspect it and not worry about...

NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible in Paducah KY (EB3 blue now primer, 383-2, 135k miles)

Indeed. Would be good to get a shot of the VIN tag on the dash pad or on the door to confirm. 84/695 US-sold cars (out of 842 1970 Polara 'verts), which is just over 12%. In Canada, 16/144 1970 Polara ragtops came with a console (including Regina FQ3, my turquoise 'vert), which is just over...

NOT MINE A couple of M-bodies with potential

Sanow and Bellah are a good source. I too have this book and have found it to be quite accurate/helpful. I have owned every year of the M-squads. Does NOT make me an authority, rather just means I have had some of the cars in question. Does that Sanow book give a Chrysler corporation...

NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible in Paducah KY (EB3 blue now primer, 383-2, 135k miles)

Shows A/C under the hood, but it not on the fender tag, unless I’m missing something. Also, a console automatic car, which is not that common.

NOT MINE 1972 Dodge Monaco Three-Row Station Wagon - $28,500 - Sidney, British Columbia, Canada

It shouldn't bother me, as it will not affect me, but I hate to see a wagon with rear-dump tailpipes. Appears the current owner did that.

    NOT MINE 1970 plymouth fury3

I had that same awful emblem on the air cleaner when I got my Polara 500. It needs some aftermarket rims, id expect nothing less for $60k.

Ford Rouge plant. 1921 Making the wooden firewall. I was curious, thinking that by 1921 the Model T had a steel firewall, but I read that they started phasing the wood out in 1922 and by 1923, the Model T firewall was steel. Also in my reading, the firewall pictured was for a car equipped...
