    Help with electric radiator fan

I had success. Thought I had everything in the package. I didn't. I ended up running a switch into the cabin until I decide to hook it up to the thermostat. Thanks for the help.

    Help with electric radiator fan

I watched the video. It makes sense. It just doesn't account for the terminal added on the black line. Just want to make sure I'm connecting that properly. Ive already got a ground I believe so do I have 2 grounds or am I adding the wrong ground anywhere else?

    Help with electric radiator fan

Ok. Think I'm getting close but not quite. I have two wires that come out of the pigtail. According to that diagram link I plug one into a ground which I did. The relay has black, blue, red, white. I'm plugging the blue into the fan power, and the red with a fuse to the battery. I'm assuming...

    Help with electric radiator fan

I bought a electric radiator fan for my 68 Newport. The fan has a plastic pigtail coming out but I don't see where in the kit it plugs into. I contacted the seller and they don't know. I'm looking at all the other kits on eBay and they look exactly the same, the have a plastic pigtail that looks...

Is this an easy power steering leak fix?

68 newport. 383. I just went through a whole ordeal getting a new power steering pump and new hoses in. Runs good. I seem to have a little pooling of fluid at the bottom of the steering column portion. See pic. It's like a little dome. Is there a easily replaceable gasket there by chance? Or...

Not sure I have the right power steering pump, 68 newport

I don't have a specific link. Just casually referring to some crazy prices I've seen along my searches lately. Might be exaggerating a bit in my heightened frustration mode. Lol. But the shop doesn't have any caps either so I'll be back to my foil top until I figure something out.

Not sure I have the right power steering pump, 68 newport

From post number 1. Like I said it's not the original reservoir so who knows which cap it technically is. I had a cap and lost it somehow on a drive.

Not sure I have the right power steering pump, 68 newport

Thanks Richard, I confirmed it is a TRW with a different and modified reservoir. I am just going to have to return the new pump I got. I took the TRW to a dedicated power steering company here in town and am going to have this one repaired. Had the old one and new one and discussed with the...

Not sure I have the right power steering pump, 68 newport

My steering coupler is relatively fine. I started another post stating I need a new pulley that is 5/8 shaft. My replacement pump is 5/8 but my old pump was 3/4" shaft. Trade one problem for another . Story of my life. Just finally saw trw printed on inside of current pump.

WANTED Need 5/8" shaft power steering pulley

It would open up possibilities of I could use a keyed but I have zero idea. I'm just going off pressed only. Was excited for this new pump and completely bummed on this road block. Car is out of commission in my driveway in the elements.

WANTED Need 5/8" shaft power steering pulley

I am in urgent need of a power steering pulley that has a 5/8" shaft hole, and is just under 5.5" width. I have a 68 chrysler newport that has a 3/4" shaft and accidentally bought a pump that has a 5/8" shaft. Would prefer to keep the pump and update the pulley.

Not sure I have the right power steering pump, 68 newport

Update: I ended up buying a pump and got the old pulley off. Turns out my new pump has a 5/8" shaft and my old has 3/4". I'm emailing the company now but it's start of weekend so who knows when I'll get a response. Anyone think its better to try and exchange for the right pump/ shaft size or...
