    Hei distributor date code

The part number is just a part number, if there is a date code on a part it is a different number and there are different date code systems in use. That part number doesn't come up on any list that I have. Do you have a distributor or an application you are looking for a distributor for? Alan

Question about '68 Monaco/Polara AM radio PN 2649965

Probably no difference. Keep in mind that the signal seeking Delco radio (I assume that's what you are asking about) , was only available in Chryslers and Imperials, not Dodges.

    Will it work? Lol

It will work but you need to get it all. The disc assemblies from both sides, The proportioning valve, The booster, Master cylinder and Brake pedal hardware under the dash. You will probably find the booster and master cylinder will need rebuild and the calipers possibly rebuilt and new pads...

    727 Kick down issue.

I have a new development with my 65 Sport Fury. It seems to shift properly up through the gears and does not slip. Now if I am cruising at say 50 mph, and floor it to kick in the passing gear, it doesn't kick down into a lower gear. It seems to go into neutral until I let up then it goes back...

    Hei distributor date code

None of the digits in the part number are tied to the date. HEI is a GM term for their electronic ignition, but since we can assume you are looking for an electronic distributor, you could rule out 1965 as that distributor still has points. Let's ask a question... DO you really need a date...

    C.L.A.S.S. Clear Lake, IA 8/3/24

I've decided to extend my year of going to car shows that I've never been to. This show is in Clear Lake, IA and it's quite huge. Even got asked for my club affiliation so of course I mentioned FCBO! And yes there are some C-bodies here. So enjoy these ma Mopar (and other) pics.

1973 Plymouth Fury 360 Crank, No start

So after getting the intake and carburetor back on my Fury, I went to fire it up and it was extremely hard to start. The carburetor is set correctly and everything was installed properly. Tons of photos were taken to make sure everything was installed as it was. After a couple of days of...

    Interstate transport

Hey y’all!!! I’m wondering if anyone has had to transport their project from one state to another and who did you use? I just moved from Iowa to Georgia but still need to bring my 300 down. It’s got no motor or transmission. It does have brakes and steers. I’m looking for cost efficiency because...

So I looked up that master cylinder for a 1968 Chrysler, and it is listed as correct for disc brakes, so you're good to go with that one.

    Will it work? Lol

So I found a 69 new yorker in my local pick n pull. It had front disc brakes and was wondering if those would work on my 68 monaco? I am assuming they do but eh was wondering anyways

    Testing radio question

From the photos, that is a stereo radio. It also has the DIN plug to connect the optional floor mounted stereo cassette unit (manufactured by Phillips) available in ‘71 and ‘72. The plug likely is left and right outputs with no speaker ground and should go to the thumbwheel fader for front to...

    AC conversion vs upgraded system

I am in the end stages of a conversion. I did everything a la cart. It took allot of effort. Mostly got parts via Ebay e.g compressor, evaporator, expansion value, Condenser... I used a place called Cold Hose for hoses and fittings. Don't buy fittings from Ebay. They're made poorly.
