    MrMopar goes Topless

Now that the windshield is in I could do the interior surround. The a-pillar trim were in bad shape, I had some not so good sedan trim that was good where I needed it so they were cut down. The visors and header trim were installed Still waiting on my steering wheel I got a reproduction...

Least equipped c body I've ever saw

Yeah, we (Canada) didn't have km/h anywhere on speedos that early, let alone as the dominant reading. This car was definitely meant for export.

A little after getting the windshield installed I took the car for a drive. Still needs an alignment but it drove nice, Alan

WTF has happened to VHT SP126???? OUTRAGEOUS!

This is timely. I just painted my intake and valve covers with this. It was a partial can I had bought a couple of years ago. It is obviously not as green as the original paint but I'm not picky about originality either. Surprised to see that it is so costly now. I have one more new can.

    1959 Dodge 326 - pushrod question

Good morning everyone, I recently acquired a replacement 326 engine for my 1959 Dodge Coronet (the original was locked up on 2 cylinders). One thing I noticed on the replacement passenger side cylinder head is that the 4 intake valve pushrods will not come out of the head (they move around...

325 poly and powerflite transmission from a 1957 Dodge Royal. The engine is complete air cleaner to oil pan. With the exception of it needs a starter and a torque converter. The engine does turn over. Car reads 86,000 miles. I don't know if that is the mileage on the motor. It is in Burnham,Pa...

1959 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door sedan: Repaint in new colors or leave original?

Looking at pictures it is hard to tell the actual condition of the paint. Is there enough paint left to be able to polish it to get some shine out of it? On an old original like that I would lean towards leaving it in its original paint.

    WANTED It’s been a while

Hello, It’s’ been several years since I’ve been around these cars. I went all through high school with a white on green 68 Monaco 500 with a factory 440 and 4 speed manual transmission. I am at a time now where I’d like to find another 68 model C-body. I know there’s little chance of finding...

Hey people, I am in need of Rear leaf springs for 1974 plymouth fury iii. My rear end is sagging really bad

She is great, knows her stuff. I bought mine 10 years ago and she asked if it was 5 leaf or 6. "Heck, I don't know. My car is over in the storage garage and the snow is a foot deep. Give me the 5's" I had 6 leaf. They fit perfect and haven't settled much at all.

1959 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door sedan: Repaint in new colors or leave original?

I am with you there CBODY67. That car looks good with the original paint even faded and chalked out. If the OP is the kind of guy that likes shiny new pennies, then by all means paint the car. I would keep it the original color. You do understand that if you paint it you are going down a very...

1959 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door sedan: Repaint in new colors or leave original?

To me, "patina" can be an acquired taste of sorts. It can give homage to the vehicle's past life and also identify the vehicle as "refurbished" rather than "restored", too. Several differnet orientations, for sure. Personally, I like "original paint" vehicles, but not with newer clearcoat...
