Well no, they are not mechanics. They are one of the top Mopar engine gurus in the country. You need to pull the engine or have a mechanic do it and bring it to them. They will build anything you want from mild street to full blown race engines.

Go down the street or around the corner whatever it is to Ray Barton Racing Engines right there in Robesonia. Ray and Dave did my 440 and my dads Hemi. Very pleased with both engines. They are not low priced by any means but very very good work and well respected.

Have you tested/traced the wires to make sure power is getting to the motor? When I need to remove a gate/window on an inop I power the motor directly off a battery. There are limit switches at the top and bottom that may be messed up so powering directly eliminates all the car related issues...

Check the bulkhead connector. Pins J & P especially. These 2 wires carry the full amperage used by the car. They are way undersized. The connection corrodes and the resistance goes up. The wires become heating elements. They melt the harness and start fires.
