The 69 imp. has an insulated brush alternator which requires the 3 pin regulator with blue, green and black wires going to regulator.. One year only and yes imperial only. My Service manual shows the alternator and it has it own special section....:banana: I'm happy its so easy to find my...

I don't think there is an aftermarket one for my car, mine is the 3 pin, All i see in aftermarket are 2 pin conectors... Is the one on your car dented bad? And is it the 3 pin connector?
