Voltage regulator needed for 69 Imperial

Whereas that may be true it doesn't solve the problem of needing a voltage regulator that may be virtually imposable to find.
It would be interesting to know why the Imperial in 69 had this particular setup.

Personally I'd guess it was an "advanced" design and they found a simpler way to do it later.

The 69 had an isolated field and the later ones had an insulated field. I'm not sure of the differences but that is what my research turned up.

In light of finding the correct unit there is a relatively easy fix.

Hi, I just read your post because I was about to list my voltage regulator on ebay part # 2875400. I added 2 pictures for you. It still has box but looks like it may have been installed but then prolly removed because it looks like new but has marks where mounting holes are and I didn't clean it all so it had to be plugged in and removed if anything because it must not have fixed their problem is my guess. My ebay store name is Kane's Private Parts and Much More. My ebay user name is kaneb333. The item # for my voltage regulator part # 2875400 listing is 2875400. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Kane
