Forty or so very odd years ago, at the Dunkirk, NY show somebody had an Airflow Imperial limo/8 passenger sedan for sale. BTW, the parade car in the film "The Dictator" was an Imperial. I often wonder if it has survived.

Checked the '55-'58 parts book and it shows the same one for '58 DeSoto and Chrysler and a different one for Imperial. None for Plymouth or Dodge.

In my collection of '59 stuff I have a Belgian brochure for the Plymouth Perkins. I will see if I can find it.

35 years ago when I was having shift problems with the Max I found the Max Wedges used the same cable as a '62 Newport! Oh, and when I went to replace it the cable wasn't the problem!

YES!, In the late Seventies, in New Jersey anyway, they outlawed Imperials. I saw the entry form: "In fairness to all our competitors, no Chrysler Imperials"! My friends told me one time at the Flemington, NJ track that the only 2 cars left were Imperials and they just bashed away at each other...

Max is 17.1' and he's backed against the studs of the wall and there are 22" between the front bumper guard rubber and the door. Yeah, 6" clearance for the IMP is OK then!
