    67 Chrysler Imperial Sedan

Gee, (snide remarks aside) the forum is 'C-bodies FOR SALE', a proper place to post such an ad I would think. Yes, I asked for some info a while back, and appreciated it. I can't say I would have ordered the car with a blue interior myself, but by all accounts (fender tag) that's the way it...

Was this rear window an option in 1967?

Alan, I was able to get a decent picture of the fender tag, if you can check it out it would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott

Was this rear window an option in 1967?

Can anyone decipher this fender tag/? This is on my Imperial sedan, the one with the small LeBaron rear window. The VIN is: YM41K73204006 I assume it's always been with the car. The seats have been changed so the build sheet is long gone. Any help would be appreciated. Scott :sFl_america2:

Mine was the more 'ornate' three tab design. Thanks for the link. Scott

Yeah, it's getting bad when you have more honest and responsible folks on Craigslist.

    Dome light cover, 67-68

Anyone have a round dome light cover for a 67-68 Imperial? I was trying to put mine back in after fixing the dome light and it shattered. I've attached a pic. Thanks, Scott

The Canadian 'buyer' failed to pay, so the Imperial remains in my garage. I'll keep plugging away on the electrics, already got the antenna to function and the A/C clutch is free and seems to work when powered. I bought a PowerPoint tool, I'm liking it so far.

    Chrysler Imperial boat

    Pretty small for an Imperial.

    My new '67 Imperial sedan.

Yes, it does have some overload springs. It also has a substantial trailer hitch welded on. I replaced the rear shocks with a set that has coil springs.

Looks like this Imperial will be heading to Canada.

Was this rear window an option in 1967?

Hey, that's as good as any, and sounds completely possible. My bet is lots of unannounced things were done in the 60's especially to low production (mundane) cars of the time. Thanks for the input.

    My new '67 Imperial sedan.

I've got my eye on a 55 DeSoto 2-dr, if the Imperial sells.

By the was, was that you and your CHP car (69 Polara) at the Fall/Spring Fling? Those were some fast cars in their day, I worked at a gas station back then and they used to get fuel as they patrolled 1-10.

Thanks Alan. I checked, no '1' under the E on the fender tag, there is a '9' under the D.

I will check the seats, there was nothing in the glove box. I have to admit I like the idea of a special car, (from a seller standpoint) if it's true.
