Was this rear window an option in 1967?

I'm standing by my theory.
Like Cadillac and Lincoln, Imperial had what was called a "Black Car" model. It was for the government, professional, commercial, etc. industry. A luxury taxi. The "Black Car" from Imperial was the 4 Dr. Sed. with the Crown window.
And I'm going to take a stab that the official model designation was YM41-8.
Hey, that's as good as any, and sounds completely possible. My bet is lots of unannounced things were done in the 60's especially to low production (mundane) cars of the time. Thanks for the input.

The Canadian 'buyer' failed to pay, so the Imperial remains in my garage. I'll keep plugging away on the electrics, already got the antenna to function and the A/C clutch is free and seems to work when powered. I bought a PowerPoint tool, I'm liking it so far.

HUMMM? After reading and re-reading this thread I found nothing that would indicate that this Gangster Wagon waz F/S. Wonder if she'd make me move into the new Playpen add on?

Can anyone decipher this fender tag/?

This is on my Imperial sedan, the one with the small LeBaron rear window. The VIN is: YM41K73204006 I assume it's always been with the car. The seats have been changed so the build sheet is long gone. Any help would be appreciated. Scott :sFl_america2:

I don't have my secret decoder ring here at work, so this is just a start.
D-9 - Disc Brakes
J-3
K-8 - Power Windows
Q-9 - Sentinel Lighting
R-4 - Radio (not the base)
S-1 - Air Conditioning
X-1 - Non tinted windows?
Y-6 - Black Vinyl Top

YM-41 - Chrysler Imperial 4 Door Sedan
81 - 440cid 4-bbl V8
5 3-Speed Automatic
83/5 Tires
105 - January 5, 1967
14960 - Shipping Order Number

I can fill in the blanks when I get home but I'm pretty sure this is correct.

Alan
Alan, I was able to get a decent picture of the fender tag, if you can check it out it would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott
