"The Bankers Hot Rod", I have read this term several times and I find it quite appropriate, especially for the 300L with its factory red pinstripe, unsileced aircleaner and special camshaft.

A very nice 300L with unique options at a unique price ;) I've never seen a second power antenna on a 300L (the data book doesn't say anything about it either). Does anyone know if you could order this from the factory, or was the driver side antenna installed by the dealer just like the dual...

Welcome Ian! Congratulations, your Plymouth looks like a solid vehicle. Another argument for the SB stroker is the lower weight compared to the BB. A friend of mine converted his '68 Satellite from a 318 to a 408 stroker, also to have fun with it on the 1/4 mile from time to time.

Klar Marcus, verbessern kann man immer was. Dual Quad und die Zweikreis-Bremsanlage sind schon toll. Aber ich bin mit meinem 300L sehr zufrieden und hab ne Menge Spaß damit. Auch Langstrecke bis Stade ging zweimal sehr gut ;)

Thanks! Ron, the first owner of my 300L has "improved" some things on the vehicle. Instead of the AM radio, he installed an AM/FM, a cruise control and the side markers. I'm pretty sure he had RWL tires on the roadwheels until he sold the car in the 90's.
