The 2006 Dodge Magnum will be available with a police package in the fourth quarter of 2005. The standard 3.5-liter High Output V-6 engine featured on the 2006 Dodge Magnum police package vehicle delivers 250 horsepower and 250 lb-ft. of torque for great police performance. A five-speed fully electronic transmission with steering column shifter, 18-inch V-rated tires and steel wheels, heavy-duty police brakes and linings and heavy-duty suspension will be included as standard equipment with the police package models. For the ultimate in pursuit power The 2006 Dodge Magnum police package will include the following specific package items: certified speedometer, column shifter, emergency rear door lock override, heavy-duty five-link suspension system, heavy-duty alternator, heavy-duty battery, heavy-duty brakes, inoperable rear door locks and rear windows, and special police electrical wiring. When I bought my '04 GTO there was three things I liked over the 300C and Mustang GT. First the price was 6k off of sticker on the Goat. Second was the manual 6 speed transmission. Third was the LS motor. Listening to the car going thru the gears and feeling

the torque was fun no matter how fast I was going. I added an MPD fiberglass hood with the optional Ram Air package (stainless steel insulated air box with K/n air cleaner). Now cars of this era are getting worn out. So I will be taking extra care of my GTO.

The 2005 and 2006 look nice with the hood but remember they are non functional. The difference between the ls1 and ls2 comes down to personal preference. There is little performance difference. Color is also a personal preference, the Brazen Orange of 05/06 I like but my color, Barbados Blue is the most rear of the three years with 271 made.
