This car is absolutely a time capsule. It’s like going back in 1957 and buying it then. This car is all original absolutely a gorgeous vehicle. Must see to appreciate. power brakes, Power steering, Air conditioning from factory. This is a California car never been out of the state of California till a couple of months ago. Always garaged since New been in the family since new. they only made 2023 of them, because of recession in 1957. Tags are current. I really hate to see you go, but selling due to poor health. For more information call show contact info
. Must see to appreciate!

Cannot restore a forward look car for the asking price.
Pay up,turn key,drive on!

Beautiful wagon - Has this car been on here recently? Seems like I have seen it before. The ad notes "factory" AC, but it LOOKS like a Vornado after-market unit (pretty cool in itself, actually). Maybe it's me, but I would expect a cleaner engine compartment for $30K. Hope it finds a good home.

It was up a few months ago. Pretty sure this car was sold out west for about half the asking price a year or so ago. I think despite "poor health" a flipper is trying to sell it now. If you look closely, there are rust perforations at both rear quarter lower radii. Air is after market as noted.

Was there a recession in 57?

Nice sweet ride .

Thanks Will, I 've read several times that 57 was the best year for auto sales to date.

Hate the color but otherwise she's a beauty.

1957 was a "boom" year for the economy, the recession was in 1958...…….and I think that year was only good for Rambler...….

True Dave. Things really went downhill in 58.

I'd have never known that back then. My parents bought a brand new 57 Plymouth Custom Suburban late in the year and in the summer of 58 we took our first major family vacation in it. Rode from Detroit up and over the newly opened Mackinaw bridge to the UP of Michigan for a couple of weeks at a inland lake resort. I was 11 then.

Tan & brown is not awe inspiring but it's a original. Find a better one.... I'd bite the bullet if I was in a buying position.
It kinda reminds me of one of "Sky King's" Chrysler wagons. Maybe with a "King Ranch" logo on the door.

I see it has the ultra rare iPhone charging in the crease of the seat option...

Decades ahead of the competition!

Reminds me of my dad's 2 door version. I was too young to even know it let alone likely drooling all over myself back then.
