And with the blink of eye it's now $ 12600.00
Of course none of these bids are relevant until reserve is met.

I have feeling the auction will not run the full course. Someone will make him an offer to end the auction early and is willing to pay a premium.

Looks like Stan was right once again............. (and Will too, as well if my theory is right - see below).
Last time I saw it yesterday, it bid to $19K. Probably someone with deep pockets in Sweden (who really love Forward Look cars) bought it. Maybe had the intention of restoring one fully anyway and so it makes sense to buy the cheapest, best example one can find and restore every piece properly. And they probably don't care that it has no a/c and might even prefer it. No sense in getting a better one to start with if you are going to do everything all over anyway in order to make it perfect. Just a theory.

Well Steve, this just confirms I'll will most likely never be in a position to restore one of these. Entry costs are too high and I don't have the budget for my resto tastes. Not to mention, I'd want a drop top.

Cheap to buy cheap to restore, Forward Look convertible. Shouldn't be a problem...

When I get in those situations, I think about the nice cars I do have and then it doesn't seem so bad!! :BangHead:

This one apparently got to $21,000 (fourth bid from bottom) before auction ended early .. so I guess it went for at least that much.
