WOW! The wealth of knowledge here is amazing! Nice work everyone!
The 354 was a bored 331. The stroke and deck height is the same.I'm pretty sure you are. I think they dropped the fluid drive after 53' and went to the two speed power flite in 54. However, I will find it hard to believe they would re-cast the block just to match the power flite, unless.... the 354 was nothing more than a punched out 331, which came out in 56. Then they may have done just that. I haven't seen a 54 in person in years.
I agree. A buddy of mine has an early Hemi. Wonder if it will bolt in to chassis & trans. I think it's a 331.
Not many only 6. I'll sell a couple of em eventually. In the meantime.....Lol, how many toys do you have Bob?
It's got a slant in it now. If it had a Poly I'd leave it inNo, not a bolt in. But doable. I think it's just fine with the 318 poly, especially if it's been rebuilt already.
On the deluxe models I seem to remember a chrome piece screwed in at the end here, Phoenix models I am pretty sure.View attachment 70407 Check out these roof scoops. They face rearward, but are absolutely cool. Never seen a car with these on the roof before. This is really a cool car
Come get it Stan. Pretty sure this is the last one left in the worldMakes me really want one before there are no more.
Ok Dan...Come get it Stan. Pretty sure this is the last one left in the world
Good point BigI think it's kinda cool to have a slant six in this car.
I would leave it alone, especially since it sounds like it's ready to go and you don't have to spend any money on it.
