My 62 dodge 880 temp control valve , the one that mounts on the firewall above the heater box passenger side, leaks out the rubber seal. I have seen them online for 4-500 buks, is there a repair or swap for these?
I will put one inline underhood, on off valve in the heater hose but would like to keep it where it is so I can use the dash control to open or close it.
Thanks for any help.

Jeff Carter rebuilds these units as I understand. He has done some other restoration work for me in the past. He is simply the best there is when you need help with your vintage 300. I don't know his price to rebuild that unit, but he has been reasonable in the work he has done for me. He is well known throughout the Chrysler 300 Club, and a great guy:
