floor underneath now all straight and ready for final sanding prior to paint. Got a batch of nuts and bolts zinc plated. I have wrecked a few cars over the years and have a few cars worth of the correct bolts to choose from.

little more progress. floors nice and straight now and have finished a second batch of zinc plating. Very happy with how the zinc came out especially the cables. I have roughly 3 cars worth of the bolts and bits plated which gives me a good selection to choose from

no, i got a local plater to do them for me. cost me $140 for effectively about 3 cars worth of parts.

por 15 the chassis this week and have nearly sorted out the trunk area. probably spent way too much time on the floors as they will eventually not be seen, but I do enjoy looking at crisp clean pans during the build.

bit more done this week. Slowly getting the right hand quarter straightened out and bit of blasting and priming up under the quarter panels where the blaster missed.

Wow, what a fantastic job you are doing! Like you, I also insist on pristine floor pans. In fact I guess its all the stuff you can't see that I enjoy knowing it was done perfectly. Zinc plating misc hardware, nuts and bolts is brilliant, wish I had thought of that while my car was apart. Casting badges in bronze and then chrome plating is also an awesome idea.
My hat is off to you!

Finally had a chance to get the floor all sanded and a coat of paint on. really happy with the finish, especially as I didn't have any floors to start with.
