1965 pace car restoration

Little bit more progress. Received my new dash pad which looks stunning. Also finished my hood emblem, just need to send it to the platers.

little bit of progress. finally have the front wheels on so I can roll it around. The heater took over 8 hours to disassemble and restore. Wiper mechanism was also stuffed and had to make a good one out of about 4 separate ones I had collected. The fuel tank I have just started. I have 3 good ones but all with dents. I decided to split the worst one and fix it.

I will add to the gas tank question, what method did you use to split the tank?

Beautiful work, love the detail to everything.

bit slow on the progress at present. My son is dealing with multiple health issues which has had me re evaluate a lot of priorities. Just trying to get a few mins here and there to keep sane.
