This car is a very nice 426 4 speed 2DR hardtop matching #s I would say a solid its between a #2 and # 3 car. I would never use it as a daily driver because of the condition and the car is very rare. The best Part of this car is the engine trans suspension rear. This car runs like a 66 GTX it responds so well and you just touch the petal and your moving it has 355 or 373 gearing you do about 3k on the tach at 55 60 MPH. The interior is very good seats carpet headliner and panels are close to perfect dash is in great shape no cracks the interior needs that fake laminate wood to be replaced and steering wheel is cracked. The engine is nice and detailed I would like to find an original air cleaner the painted the engine block orange it run idles great. No Smoke or leaks the car rides like new the front wheels need to be balanced and the brakes need to be looked at wheel shimmies when you come to a sudden stop the allignment seems good it drives straight, The body overall is nice Quality paint job 20 + years still shines no over spray orange peel still and there are no thin spots. There are some small bubbling in few different areas its been like that for 2 1.2 years never spread. The car leaked years ago in the trunk before restoration you can see they patched and area. There are no leaks at all the rubber around windows are great not dry the trunk has no leaks windows open and close perfectly doors shut like new car. I have a ton of pictures if anyone intersted I will send you all pics this car is very rare its lion in sheeps clothing, Get a true sleeper and I don't know the exact # made but it had to be 200 or less, I love the body style on these now a days mopar big block 4 speeds bring in good money. I like it better then a 66 67 GTX and who ever purchased this car built it to race M/S M/B car had all working gauges including clock the speed and odometer need to be fixed. I would say this car has 5k on it since here are a few restoration call or text me Scott [NO PHONE NUMBERS PLEASE] i'am asking 27,500 BO DSCN0144.jpgDSCN0146.jpgDSCN0145.jpgDSCN0151.jpg

Great looking car. IMHO your price would be more appropriate for a completely restored car. Good luck with the sale.

GTX first came out in 67 not 66 but never the less awesome car you got there

I would agree. $18K-$19K is about right for this car as it sits.
I think its worth a little more they made 200 or less plus one just sold its in the same shape as mine White with blue he had rust in the quarters he got 24.5 for his. go into google images and type in 65 fury 426 4 speed for sale it has sporty rims its white w blue interior and the paint is equal he had rust in certain areas cracked steering wheel the tach did not work are interior is equal what her did he to the fake wood and kept it chrome i have a few bubbles there tiny and the paint was done well no over spray orange peal jams done right he painted the engine orange which was kind of dumb he should of painted it blue i 6 bubbles that are less then an inch by an inch and it was redone in the late 80's the bubbles have been there for over 2 years never spread. I would take 25 for it I spoke to the guy that sold his for 24,5 i was shocked he sold it he never wanted to part with it He told me about the flaws thats why i am comparing the 2

Super nice. I'd drive it. Esp. with that 4spd sticking out of that console. Its screams "drive me". Real fast.

It's nice you didnt molest it.
no every think is documented its white with red interior its decoded its matches perfect it was built jan 65 the best part of the car is the engine trans rear and suspension it rides beautiful no rattles or doesn't leak or burn oil and its rare a mopar fan would love to have it its a lion in sheeps clothing think the body styles are nice I see Polaras with 383 autos sell for 17k there is a fury Iii 318 blue he wants a ton of money that might be a little to high plus this car has been babied and never seen snow

I had some guy look at it and he gave away his hand before he even seen the car he was telling about a few cars he bought put a little money and sold for a huge profit. I should of said find someone else he offered me 16.5 and he said before left the most i can give you is 16.9 no thanks

Its built to race and to drive it has 355 or 373 gears and it flat out flies I had 67 Plymouth sport fury w 383 commando hp and this car would smoke it with ease the gearing was different it 308 323 gears

Yep, I can surely believe that. Awesome stop light screamer. Perfect sleeper, most people (esp. non mopar) would automatically mistake it for granny's church sunday car. Taking names and pink slips.

It's more likely 3.55, 3.91 or 4.10 gears. The 3K on the tach at 55-60 you mention above sounds more like 3.91 or 4.10

Have you looked to see if it still has the little metal tag on one of the bolts? If this car is an unmolested original it would not have a 3.73

just did a little look-see at Hamtramck and only available ratio was the standard 3.23.

you'll have a lot of fun here: http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/dealerships/1965PlymouthDealershipDataBook-04.shtml

Based on the pics, it appears the blue interior is in better shape than yours which would bring a higher price.
