I know I was thinking it could of been in katrina. i had a buddy of mines tow it over to his shop to look at the car to see if saw signs of possible frame rebuild accidents anything and he said the car looked like it was never in an accident so why would a insurance company pay out and consider it a loss

Were doing guestimates on my car explain to me why 73 or 74 Charger GTX or Roadrunner could bring in a good buck weather it has a small or big block. To me the only car that stands alone that was built in 73 and 74 is the Pontiac SD Trans AM no tother car built in those 2 years come close in value. The 73 or 74 Roadrunners or GTX are worth more then my car. I can't see that they were nice looking cars and also the Chargers but that was the end of the High horsepower high compression and Torque. My car has history and it was the beginning of the mucsle car wars. The Ramchargers are responsible for the 413 and 426 designs they kicked everyones but on track an right around 63 Mopar really bought into the king of the hill mentality even though the late 50's 392 Hemi was a head of its time and really fast for its size. if you ever watched that muscle car show about the 300 the 2001 300 beat every 300 except the Hurst 300 on the track. That one car I would love to own the Hurst 300

{ I'm drinking wine and chilling as I read this whole thread again }

I'm drinking some Scotch and watching a Twilight Zone marathon with the kids as is our tradition on New Years eve

Well they aren't drinking scotch

Ah, c'mon, it helps them sleep better! And if they are little and teething, it makes them real happy real quick!

Well son is away and the girls are 19 LOL.

None of them drink which is fine by me. We used to use ambisol on the gums which seem to do the job back in the day though

Greater desirability and demand are two things that come to mind. Another would be "marketing". Is this the only place you have listed the car for sale? I've asked but yet to see a response, where is the car located? The lurkers here are very picky on how far they are willing to travel, a location would be key. The car is neat and unique, and you also have a good argument for the price you have put on it, but this may be the wrong crowd for the sales pitch. If you really want to sell it, that is.

I don't remember the name. It was Scottish, though... Lol
J/k. It was Kirkland and I didn't bother checking the price. It was in a locked display.

I saw a bottle of 40 (yes, forty) year old Scotch Wednesday. I almost held up my first liguor store.

My Dad broke out a bottle of 40 year old scotch this week, that he got from my Grandpa when my brother was born in June of 1969. It was the best liquor I have ever had, bar none.
My dad is 72 years old, when my brother in law attempted to pour Coke in the glass, the reflexes dad had were that of a 12 year old jacked up on Mountain Dew playing a video game. I thought he broke my brother in law's wrist.

I would have taken it away from him and gave him something else !

Well done Dad
