The wood grain really caught my eye on this one...
I think that it is worth a bit more than the high bid but unless there are eyes directly one this going over it with a fine toothed comb it is hard to tell for sure.
 
$7669 is where it ended. Reserve not met. Probably a good real world value IMHO.
Would've thought it would go higher than that, perhaps with some people bidding high under the 'safety' of believing the reserve was high.
There may be no reality to this belief of mine -- but I think there are lots of people out there who bid on things not to win, but to put 'Hail-Mary' bargain bids, or for the thrill of 'what if I had actually won it, aw shucks I got outbid right away'.

Considering all the other issues that have been spotted so far, I bet there's lots more that are hidden.
