The shame is that he is a devoted C-body guy. Not a guy who jumps on the bus as part of Flavor of the Month Club, and bails in the future with 1/2 finished projects because of, as they say in the ads: "Due to changing priorities...".

OH CRAP! I wish I hadn't seen that.
We called them Rusty's Old Cars in New England. Their "restorations" are the worst on the planet.

So much for me thinking they were well representing the car, so are they the bondo kings of "restoration".

Arlen's Craigslist ad was march 29th so by the time they bought it and shipped it to Rustachussets they had no time to do much to it. It's probably almost as they bought it.

Sure hope he made them pay him a very good price to minimize their profit. Can't stand those vultures who literally find a barn or estate car, tell the owner it is worth little, then take it and mark up 300, 400 or 500%.

My convertible was bought by a dealer, a Chrysler dealer. The original owners of the car called him up thinking he would take care of the car for years to come. He showed up with a flatbed and $1,600.00. He tried to get them down lower still.... but left paying the $1,600.00. He immediately sold it to a antique car dealer an hour North of Harrisburg for $9,000.00. I was happy to pay $10,500.

I'm sure you're happy but you have to admit, it must stick in your craw even a little bit...

If you mean the fellow taking advantage of the original buyers YES IT DOES! The fact that he made that much money from their ignorance, YES IT DOES! I had the original title from them, called information and they still lived at the address from when the car was titled. Talked with them which is how I found out about the cars history...... The next summer I went to see where the car was sold new, it was no longer a dealership. I then went to see the dealer who bought the car from them. I met him, what a snake! He had no personality and had no interest in meeting me or talking about the car.

I sense a lot of hostility in you. Would you like to talk about it?
