For Sale 1966 Plymouth Fury 1 2-Door Sedan

I have a 1966 Fury 2-door post car that needs to leave the garage as my family will be moving in the not-too-distant future. It is a rust-free example from San Gabriel, California. It is mostly original. It still has the original dealer's license plate vanity. It is a black plate car. No rusty metal, no broken/cracked glass. It has one nos taillight bezel. SMS fabric has all the interior, including the windlass. The dash isn't cracked to hell. Owners manual in the locking glovebox. It does run, but idles down. Transmission shifts just fine. It has the air cleaner and steering wheel horn with it, but not in the pics. 40220 $5450. Let's make a deal.

Thanks but I need offers people. I must have a very unwanted car, because this post has had about 300 views and no offers. I wish I had never bought this car. This is what happens when you buy something esoteric/eccentric and you thought you would keep it for a long time and then you change your mind. The same thing happened when I bought a Browning automatic rifle. I lost money on that. I lost money on a '55 Ford Crown Vic I bought back in 2001. I'm an idiot.

Well in my opinion the 65 & 66's are a dime a dozen now from what I see advertised.
I'm 66 years old and it's a little bit before my era.

Don't feel bad. I had a 66 two door post donor body car in classifieds for years. Phoenix / southern NM body. $500. could not sell it.

I appreciate the sentiments, but Mustangs and Camaros are a dime a dozen, but they sell well. I guess these cars are not really wanted by most folks. Damn it. I'll never buy another odd-ball, esoteric or eccentric car again. I was looking for a Barracuda fastback when I gave up and bought this post car, thinking it would make a great sleeper project, but it is just too original to go messing with it. I know what would be changed, could be returned to the way it was, but this car, I guess, isn't worth doing anything to it besides restoring it, or do I have it bass ackwards? I've had 4 or 5 offers to buy it, but for one reason or another, no one has gotten serious about buying it.

Don't give up, you only posted it a week ago. Even the Mustang / Camaro sales can take a bit. I wouldn't call it an oddball but the market can be limited. However, there are people passionate about these cars out there, with patience you'll find one.

I appreciate it, but what you don't know, is that I tried before to sell it here and I also have this car listed in 3 other sites that are not forums, but auto sales sites I had to pay for. I sure wish I had waited for something else.

Well, this is a different year and it does have a nicer appearance, but mine is $2,100. cheaper. I don't want to try to navigate international stuff. I guess I may have to take a big loss to get rid of it. I was wanting a '65, but found this one instead. I paid too much for it? I probably did.

I'm lowering my price to $5,295. I had one guy call me from another listing I have nationally and he said he had one of these in high school and he would have to sell his Mustang first, before he could buy my car. I'm not going to even think about holding my breath. I'm sorry, but I am a very jaded man and rather misanthropic, too.
