There isn't a C Body on the planet worth that money. They are fishing for a sucker.

Must be a general contractor. He spent $45,000 on the restoration and is now adding on his 15% profit margin. If you think that is bad wait till he spends $45,000 on a slant six Valiant and tacks on his 15% profit margin.

$53,000.00.
$53,000.00 would mean it was locked in a hermetically sealed controlled environment from the day it left the showroom and a ray of sunshine has never been cast upon it nor one gram of unfiltered earthly air.
It wasn't.

The original posted car would be a sweet project. 440 4spd vert. What else can you say!

Youd think for 53K, he could of atleast cleaned, and shined the tires up a bit...

I'd kill to be able to inspect that car.
With a notepad and him standing there I would find enough issues within ½ an hour to show him why My top offer of $15k is,already too much.
And then go to 17-5 max.

The old guy with the 03/04 Ram Quad Hemi must have been busy elsewhere with his Armor All.

I can picture you judging cars at Carlisle....

Being brutally honest judging cars... with a crowd of owners chasing you with pitchforks and tar and feathers. LOL!

002.jpg003.jpg004.jpgSpeaking of convertibles and since this thread isn't a serious For Sale thread...Here's a '68 Fury 383 Commando 4 speed I saw last summer. Everything is original, even the film of dust inside the engine compartment. The owner was nice and I was kicking myself for not asking him to take me for a short ride. Well yesterday at Cars n Coffee the owner was there again, and he was nice enough to take me for a 20 mile scenic cruise. He opened it up a few times, and chirped the tires in second. Nothing like a Fury for a comfortable and reliable cruiser. I never should have sold my '67 Fury sedan, damn.

Btw the fender skirts were back on.
