1968 300 Steering Box

Hello FCBO,

I have adjusted my steering box to the max to tighten it up. I still have ~10 degrees of play in the steering wheel. As such the car drifts left to right and is a great reason to get pulled over. Is there anything else I can do other than put a new(er) steering box in? What vehicles have compatable steering boxes? Any suggestions on where to get one?

Hello FCBO,

I have not swapped out a steering gear before. Do you have to pull the steering column back to get it out? It also looks like a roll pin down where the steering shaft meets up with the steering gear/box, is this the case?
