1968 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron Limousine - WOW -

That is was I was trying to say.

If that engine is 496 cubic inches, it would be interesting to figure out they got any performance out of it with log manifolds, they were not especially efficient even at 440 cubes.

I thought of you as soon as I saw that "upgrade" :realcrazy::lol:

The original appears to have tambour doors that hide the television. The replacement looks like a re-purposed 80s microwave cart.

Wow, It is so weird seeing this picture posted about Lynch Buick in Chicago. This was the only Buick dealership I worked for, and the service manager was a real A**HOLE. The day I quit working there we got in an argument over a car that needed way more work over what the aftermarket warranty would pay for. That was the last dealership I worked at. Your limo is a beauty though.

Professional car collectors love these limo's. I have a friend in Tn that has two of these and several others.

Yes, BUT, would these people, your friend included, pay 75k for this limo with no provence? I doubt it. At 1/2 the price? How about 1/3rd...

Nobody bought Dan Corley's 6bbl SFGT when it was 85k, no matter how rare a/o desirable it was.

Thought this would interest you guys...

Own a piece of history. This 1968 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron has a single family ownership. This rare car is 1 of 12 modified by Stageway Coaches in Fort Smith, Arkansas as documented by Chrysler Historical Collection. A seven year on frame restoration completed in 2013 makes this triple black beauty unique with originality. The interior has the highest grade of leather and carpet with an amazing install of modern electronics to include a back up camera, 2 stereos, Ipad, USB ports, phone, custom cabinetry, intercom, dual air and much more. The original drive line was rebuilt and upgraded at the time of restoration to include the brake system and suspension. This Limo is fully loaded with every working option. Since the restoration the Limo has been driven 1870 miles. The restoration and original purchase is fully documented and has been preserved for the new owner.

You must see this Limo to appreciate the condition, workmanship and drivability.

An appraiser rated the Limo excellent in all areas and stated "the 1968 Chrysler Imperial is extremely rare and is the finest restoration on a limo of this nature that I
have ever seen".
Hopefully a competent appraiser as no name/business is mentioned.

My 62 Buick limo is 1 of 2 . People always tell me that must be worth 60k. I tell them I,ll sell it to you for half of that and you can sell it and double your money. For some reason I still have it.:rolleyes:

I was thinking more about you not liking the best buy stuff... but you're right, the install sucks too. Other than that, I kinda like it... but can't see it as a must have for many folks.

Oh, I think that's crap as well.
