yeah, very cool wagon esp. w/the hot 440, but asking price needs work....and NO rust?, have to wonder 'bout that claim.

Now Stan why is that one way too much but the Fury Wagon in the wiw section of Moparts is a great price? I think $6,500 is a good starting price for that car. Its got lots of power goodies and is a big block.

And as far as the no rust claim goes being a California car I believe it, but I'd have to see it first.

As far as is known the car is original Cali car. Has the original black plates with yellow numbers/letters. Those were phased out in 1970 IIRC.

If its been outside in the elements, ALWAYS expect some rust no matter where the car is from.

I dont see where it says the car has been outside in the elements for a period of time.

Although the New Jersey reference to rust is different to a westerners point of view. If a westerner says no rust and he is an HONEST guy that means no rust. If a easterner says no rust that means your back window and trunk floor kind of rust.

I believe it till I see it

No, I'm sure its just been sitting in the guys kitchen next to the fruit bowl all this time, 440 TNT and all......well I'd rather not be the guy naive enough to believe there's NO rust on 40+ yr old car simply b/c the advertisement says so.....guess I haven't lived long enough to see the difference between eastern rust and western rust.

There is no difference in the rust, there seems to be a difference between peoples interpretation of rust severity based on their geographical location which has nothing to do with this car.

Hopefully weather the buyer is naive or not he looks it over first. I have learned a few lessons by not looking things over myself. Just because its over 40 doesn't mean its gotta have rust and the California environment helps that cause.

Agreed. I always suspect the worse, no matter what is said, that way there are no surprises.
