I don't think the price is too bad...If you could nab it for around $5-$6000 it would be a great deal!! But it appears to be a nice rust free example...and "I" will always pay more for a rust free car.

Here are the E-bay pics form 2009.....

Yes, 5 k would be crate. Plus 800 usd rake-off, plus 1000 inland freight, plus 2000 sea freight plus customs fee, plus value added tax, plus....

There are quite some people who think it's better to spend the EUROs before they are worthless. Economy in Germany is rather strong at the moment. There are a couple of countries in very bad condition that drag down the whole EURO zone as they are in need to consolidate their debts at the expense of the others simply put.

AH! So there's the difference.

You still have money and need to dump it fast.
Our money - we don't have any left....

Now take totally impoverished countries that are worse off than the U.S. Cuba for example.
They ban the export of cars. Maybe we should too.

I desperately try to find a house that fits our needs especially with enough car storage and repair plus area for gardening for my gf, lots of people buying real estate at the moment.

LOL. Come to south-central Florida. How many acres do you need and how big a barn? Take your pick....

If I didn't need to stay near to a major hospital (for my wife), I'd move to Venus, FL tomorrow (yes, its real name is Venus and it is out of this world)!

Too far to get to my office. :)
I came close to immigrate to the US after my apprenticeship when I was real young, also had some relatives on my grandfathers' side who went there after the war, but a couple private things got into way. Crowded housing areas over here really suck to me.

I like your backyard.LOL

Distant relatives as well in Canada, they used to have a meat/sausage factory I think. Visited them in 1980 ! with my parents, time flies.

That kind of money wouldn't even buy that building and the ground where it's been erected over here. Living on Venus would be alright with me as well, I'd even tolerate you as a neighbor. LOL:

Been to Wisconsin as well in 1980, Wisconsin Dells and riding with these amphibious vehicles they called the Ducks as I remember correctly.

There's a shortage on skilled labor and a fast growing overaged population in Germany, you should consider to re-immigrate.:)
