HIGHLY optioned 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 Convertible! There were only 528 Coronet R/T 440 convertibles made in 1968, and possibly only 1 with these factory options! Clean and clear Michigan title in hand. Sitting in a climate controlled garage since 1991. Car is located in Avondale, AZ.

-1968 Coronet R/T 440 4 Barrel HP Convertible WS27 car
-Factory A/C convertible! One of only 63 A/C WS27's ever made!
-Matching 3 speed 727 Automatic Trans
-Originally a 3.23 Suregrip, now has a Dana 60 with 4.10 gears
-Original Light Blue color interior and Bright Blue Metallic exterior (repainted)
-Factory vinyl bucket seats and console shifter!
-Original factory rubberized undercoating on undercarriage
-White horizontal stripe from factory
-AM radio with factory rear seat speakers
-Original power brakes car
-Solid floors and trunk
-Black convertible top

Car is taken apart but nearly 90-95% of the original parts are still there. The original engine is gone and now has a 440 with a 1969 RB2 casting in it. The transmission, driveshaft, and gas tank are out of the car, but included in the sale. The owner since 1988 was attempting to restore the car, but had neck surgery in 2016, and thus was unable to complete the restoration.

Car was parked in 1991, since the owner accidentally advanced the timing too far, and a ticking noise started in the engine.

Engine is seized from sitting for so long. It is missing the back glass for the convertible top and probably some other minor parts. The cars drivers side quarter panel was hit by a motorcycle and has some bondo in it, otherwise, the body is very straight. The trunk lid also has rust around the key tumbler as well. Other than that, the car just has some minor surface rust. The car is located in Avondale, Arizona.

Needs an asking price.
Majority of us don't have $20k for a project car.
So I would think you'd have a lot better luck selling that one on moparts or FBBO.

Nice project, I have a big soft spot for '68 B-bodies but I am set with a couple of my own.

Honestly, I'd find whatever missing parts it needs and give it a mechanical resto and drive it as is. You should pour a 50/50 mix of atf and actone into the cylinders now, I bet you could free it up in a few days.

I agree.
The back looks way better in 68
I will sent you some pics via e-mail

Hey guys, I will be listing the car on eBay tonight for auction, ill give you guys a link once it starts, thanks

Moparts... Can't think of a brief way to summarize my thoughts of that, so won't try...
