Built it with my own two hands, it's not going anywhere. I've been parking underneath it for a very long time.I could not stand having a shelf right over part of my car, no matter how well it is attached. I know I'm a little sick though.
Dave your 3/4 ton was not ment to be fast but you should find that it'll feel like a loaded trailer isn't even there when towing. Your truck is considerably heavier then a 1/2 ton.

I've trailered C-bodies and other pickups with my 6 cylinder F-150. I wouldn't take it over The Rockies but other than that it did well as long as I kept it under 50.

The only COE you can still get in the U.S. is from Freightliner. Never seen on in person and probably never will.
COE's are dead here.
In a COE, the driver is the first one to the scene of the accident.
