I feel like I have been out of the loop lately. Working too many hours. Looking forward to seeing the car at Nats. I think you wife is going to keep you from selling it. Got to love it when the wife likes your car, mine loves the 300 and that was even before I started to restore it. You can't sell it yet either, because I want to go for a ride in it first.
I hope to have the 300 at Nats too but I'm not holding my breath. It will be at the upholstery shop 3 week on Wednesday and not much has been done yet. This is suppose to be my first real week that he has worked on my car. The other 2 that were there before mine are finished now.

I could not stand having a shelf right over part of my car, no matter how well it is attached. I know I'm a little sick though.

Dave your 3/4 ton was not ment to be fast but you should find that it'll feel like a loaded trailer isn't even there when towing. Your truck is considerably heavier then a 1/2 ton.

I told you, just sit on a 5 gallon bucket if the seats aren't finished.....

I have had a bunch of weight in the back and it handles fine ......its a NY truck with rust issues and its white....I hate it

The only COE you can still get in the U.S. is from Freightliner. Never seen on in person and probably never will.
COE's are dead here.
In a COE, the driver is the first one to the scene of the accident.
I drove this truck in 1971. 185 hp single axle and 100,000 GVW.

That's interesting. A friend of mine was working in engineering at Freightliner for 3 years in Oregon sent over from the Mercedes plant in Germany; he lives just around my corner, have to ask him about his experiences in different design philosophies.

Freightliner. Originally designed and built by Consolidated Freightway for their own use because nothing on the market held up to the abuse they demanded out of their trucks.
