1969 Dodge D100 - thoughts

The two I had.

I was painting the bumper at the time for the black one. The turquoise one in the background was sold back to my friend Dave, who I had bought it from. That had a 440 with an automatic replacing the slant it had. Last I heard, it had rusted away to nothing and was being cut up to make a trailer from the box. (sniff) The black one had a 340 with automatic that I grenaded. A friend's cousin bought it and had it for years. He put a 383 with a four speed in it. It changed hands a couple times, got painted flat black and ended up looking like this. I thought about buying it back, but I hated the look it has now.

just happened , but its so cool . to have two oem painted trucks the same colors , had a 69 short adventurer , it was dark greem met with a white textured roof years back , it was wrecked hard by a friend who just needed to use it , turned it into parts . in fact the headers n exhaust system and trans cross member on my 64 d100 '' orangy '' lol . as for my 69 d100 adventurer , it was a 383 auto . and the motor mount brackets were used in the 440 transplant in the 69 d200 '' oranger '' lol ;) . it would have been cool if my other ones could have been old statey's too . my 60 d100 was turquoise n white , and my 57 d100 was pac bell green .
