1969 Dodge Polara 500 Convertible * Free Warranty! This is a very solid car that is powered with a 383 V8 and automatic transmission. From a collection in Nebraska and had bee in storage for handful of years. The body is in excellent condition and very straight. The paint is great on the car. Very clean and comfortable interior. The wipers work, radio works, blower motor works, headlamps work. The car has factory AC that is hooked up, but not kicking on. The power convertible top goes up and down and it is in great condition. Power steering works great. Easy to drive. The miles are shown at 95,828 on the odometer.

I like the current color combo — even if this car was painted F3 green originally (if I see correctly). The buy it now price is $20k.

Nice car. I have found only a couple minor critiques on repaint job.... for example - this strip at the back of the hood. I'm not a Polara guy, but is this supposed to be stainless trim?

It doesn't look like they removed the fender extensions for the repaint. Otherwise, looks like all trim and weatherstripping, etc was removed.

The rear window looks like it's "well done":

There might be remnants of the F3, here:

Iirc that piece is painted on my '69 Polara 500 as well. I always thought that was strange.

It is painted on the Polara/Monaco, as far as I know the Chryslers were the only one with stainless.

DM27G9D137506 is absolutely stunning. I simply don't get why it has not yet sold at the $20k ask. It would be great if @azblackhemi could give his professional opinion re: the repaint quality: to my eyes, it looks better than new.

Wow. Next time I am in the area I am going to go check the place out. Some beautiful cars in that place. That is definitely a specialty shop with good tastes.

From the pictures it looks like a good quality repaint. The few items mentioned: the fender extension looking sloppy and the hood molding seam kinda lumpy are a negative but overall a very good color change done mostly the right way. Better prep under the rocker and fender area and you might not know the color was changed without seeing the tag. The engine bay doesn't give any clues of the change which is impressive. Sounds from the above video that it needs more work from it's long slumber but it does run and drive. I like it!
