Yup, there's a reason Chrysler corporation didn't put the bumble bee stripes on C bodies...it's just...wrong.

You're entitled ...... And knowing you're a purist I would expect as much from all the purists.

I personally think it can be done tastefully and reasonably.

Wow... I thought that "hockey stick" shaped trim was something someone added.

I had no idea that was stock... I don't remember ever seeing one.

I like this car a lot I can see putting the stripe on takes away from its originality. Its still really nice no matter how you slice. I'am not a convertible guy I love my hard tops. The negitave is you can easily break in

I love Polara's they were so nice the whole fuselage line were the nicest looking cars. I love the 65 thru 68 but 69 to 73 were bigger coke bottle body. What class and style

He is asking 22,000 for his I would take 25,500 for my Fury they made 500 they made a lot less 65 426 4 speed Fury's and mine is pure muscle. I'am sure his in a little better shape. Who would not want pure H.P a neck snapper that is undercover know one would know what that car has under the hood. It looks like 318 car no badges other then the hood ornament. If I sell it I sell it if not i have a great car that I can enjoy thats the way I look at it.

I sure would love to see an up to date picture of that car. I might give you 25-5 for it. I love 4 speed C-bodies.

How bout the pics scott.... you may have 100 buyers ready... but... we need to see current pics of your ultra rare 65 fury 426 4 speed.

Actually, I am not a purist. I understand that in many cases some modifications need to be made to keep these cars on the road- especially C bodies where some real talent is required, not just flipping through a catalogue.

It's like anything- some car guys just have vision and excellence in execution of their projects. Slapping a bunch of unrelated muscle car touches to a car is NOT excellence in execution. It's just tacky and very likely meant to trap an uninformed potential buyer. Very much like the "Hemi" ebay tag applied to an add for Volare seat belts so that it will pop up in more searches.

Maybe I will see a Super Bee stripe on a Polara 500 convertible that is tastefully and reasonably done...but it hasn't happened yet.

I think it would if it was a non 500 model so it wouldn't have the horizontal 500 trim. The vertical stripe clashes with the 500 trim and is just too much.

Also would have to be a 69 Charger 500 stripe (never a big fan of the fat 69 stripe) or 68 R/T stripe so no to the bee for me

I'll take the car and the house!
