I´m not commenting on your price, to each his own and in the land of the free every seller is free to list
his items for the price he wants. If you don´t want to sell and store it just for a few bucks as you mentioned
it´s a good choice anyways.
I don´t see any evidence that the CL add is a scam, it´s reasonably priced, Doc McNeedy on this board has now 7 or 8 Imperials, I seriously doubt that he paid a 5 digit price for even one of his cars.
Because someone is 15grands into a car doesn´t mean it´s worth 15 grands. That´s the problem with our C bodies. You have to think twice if you dump 20 grands or more into it to restore it, as you´ll never get it back. With a 440cui b body that problem doesn´t exist.
For my part that´s all I´ve to say, I wish you good luck on selling the Imp or if you don´t, then just enjoy the comfortable ride. They´re the coolest cars ever built, bottom line...

The biggest problem is, that when you announced the purchase of this car, you pretty much duped us into believing that you were a genuine and sincere caretaker of these cars. Pretty much like 99 percent of us on here are. Unfortunately, you almost immediately listed it with one of these shill outfits at an almost unbelievable price.
If you have 23 cars and put yourself out as a pseudo player in the collector car business, you should well know that the price that you paid for it is pretty much at the top end of the scale for these. If you thought you could flip this car for your exorbitant price, perhaps you need to reassess your knowledge of this type of car.
Don't shoot the messenger and don't get angry with us because we challenged your true intent as to the disposition of this car. Most of us have plenty of good knowledge of values of these cars. And apparently you.. not so much.

Nobody not one of you came up with a clean 69 for sale. But your all quick to be an authority on what it's worth. What sales do you base the market on? Are there that many 69s changing hands? Is there a book on it? worries. What a joke. Your missing the boat. Maybe that's why I have 23 and you give that precious sincere caretaker car no value. Oh I forgot it's a C body. The polara is here. $2500 if you want it. Seems like when I give things away here every one loves me. Just like the other 3 I gave away here. JFYI I have a very good idea of what these cars can bring. I've been doing it for 40 yrs plus. My choice on what I do with my cars. Consider yourself lucky when I give some cars away. I'll put a pic of the canceled check on the others to show how wrong you are.

@Mr.Crowley, I'm seriously very sorry if I offended you in any way. I would not call it an opinion. I fully understand that you have a passion for cars. As we all on this forum. I'm talking about most car dealers though. I am hoping no hard feelings were had and that we could still communicate on the forum. I feel stupid that I said this. Again I am very sorry I said it.
There seems to be a rash of angry, resentful posts on this board in recent weeks. Maybe it's from the weather getting hotter?
