NOT MINE 1969 monaco 2door B7 blue 383hp

If anyone east here buys the car to part out I would be interested in buying the shell if the roof is solid around the rear window for my SFGT.

Been thinking about this car. But had not yet pulled the trigger.
Cannot get the car across the border without a title.
Whoever ordered this car got the Super Bee in a full sized package. Smart move not ordering vinyl roof.
What concerns me is how rusty the rest of the car is.
If she is too far gone underneath she is a perfect roof skin and powertrain donor.
Bring it in as a parts car. Won't be licensed or driven on the road.

Its been done before. I think they brand the car or remove the VIN so it cannot be registered.
The car is quite a distance away to really take a good look at it.
The other thing agsinst me is the exchsnge rate on our CDN dollar and the stake through the vampire is cost of getting the car shipped to Northern NY state close to our border.
Im out lol.

Dodge Polara/Monaco Owners
When I was 16 yo in the summer of 1971 my uncle cosigned a loan for $3,000 and sold me his 1970 Monaco 500. Black buckets, and black vinyl top. I loved the look of the car and am wondering why a non vinyl is preferred. It was a 318 car, however my uncle has always owned New Yorkers and he thought the Monaco was too noisy, so he bought a 71 Newport.

Basically it’s because vinyl tops trap moisture which leads to the roof metal rotting underneath. Especially around the windows. That and a slick roof looks more sporty.

R..States Windsor Ontario built.
Broadcast sheet or tag should read US spec?
Canadian spec'd car would have Fury III interior/door panels.
By 1971, there were no differences between CDn and US Dodges
Windsor also built A bodies that were shipped/sold in the US after the Autopact agreement,
Pontiac started building Catalina's (which were US only cars at the time) at their St.Therese,Quebec assembly plant.

I saw this car in person, it was very solid, and they got it with a title. Forgot to take a picture of the fender tag, but this one will never be in the road again. So a rusty example is what is available.

If it has a right side mirror than it would have some other nice options.....

Seen a lot of fuselage cars with nice fendertag(s) , lot of options but no right side mirror....:wideyed:

Ihavr a friend who is going to try to get a fender tag picture. I want to say it wasn't that full.

@LocuMob — could your friend buy that RHS mirror?

It looks like it still has all its trim except for the front & back glass trim, but what's there seems to be in good shape. I'd like to get another 69 Polara, or even more so, a 69 Monaco.
