Damn, is this nice, or what???

318 non-air, though. Slick, either way!

That is THE nicest C-body I have ever seen held hostage by Lakeland Lash. My hat goes off to the scumbag.

Looks familiar. Can't find it in the old threads.

Lash got this car? It was last for sale earlier on CL in Virginia a couple of months ago. Yes it was posted in here too. Damned nice car.

Reminds me of the car my sister's boyfriend had in high school. Back in mid 70's he had a white 69 Sport Fury, black vinyl top, black bucket seat interior. looks similar to the one listed except balck instead of green. Oh, his had 383 4bbl. Wish I had that one today.

318 2bbl,....and what happened to the side stripe?

I've got the under-dash air to fit this, too. Ten large is a LOT for a small-block, no-air ride, but damn!

I kind of like having a 318 in the Admiral. It's been pulling down 20+ MPG on the average, great for road trips, which is what I have it for. I'm anxious to see how it does pulling the old camper to Florida next month, seems to have plenty of power for the job.

I may not get there first..... but I'll get there. (It's the journey).

HUMmmmmmm. No A/C, no power brakes, green interior ....... Nice but not talking to me.
I question the 727 trans also. My 69 Fury wagon with a 318 & fact A/C has a 904 in it.

I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss it. My 318 Monaco has a 727.

I don't doubt the 727 was available peter. It seems odd that one would opt for an optional trans with a base engine.
I think it's even more odd that my wagon has a 904, according to the broadcast sheet. I'm more concerned about the trans doing the job then the 318. It's been said the 904 is a pretty tough unit though.

Peter

please post a pic of your fender tag.
It should show D32 for 727 while a 904 is D31

It is a pretty barren tag.

AFAIK that is a 69 Windsor special. There are no options on the tags. You really get just the plain minimum info (engine/trans/colour outside/interieur/colour door panels/SPD/VIN/VON).

In this case "B" in VON indicates it being built for Canada.

For 1969 I see only D34 for transmissions.

doesn't line up with the info I have. Got a bunch of tags with D31 (318 cars; b-bodys) and code D32 for the 727 (used on B-Body muscle cars ie).

All 69 C-Body tags I do have show code D32 no matter if BB or SB car. But I do not have to many
