Mine is a Belvidere built 69 SF, mine has the same medallion as yours. I haven't been able to determine why some got the traditional Plymouth emblem and some the red white blue emblem. Mine is a late production where yours is early so there seems to be no correlation that I've been able to determine.

were both emblems on the same solid plastic background? it would be helpful to see the two side by side.
Here are the three iterations of the 69 Sport Fury rear seat. The most rare from what I can tell is the one without the center medallion.
Two pictures of 69 SF rear seats without the center medallion, I found these pics but don't have any other information. I bought a parts car and was told the back seat was the same but never saw it, was told it got tossed because it was in such bad shape.
Next is the one with the traditional Plymouth Arrow, this is Trev's car for sale.
Here is the third like mine that I posted above. This was a car for sale back in about 2012 that I was going to buy but it sold before I pulled the trigger. I wonder what happened to this car because it seemed very nice.

i was always under the assumption that the solid plastic with red/white/blue was sport fury while the mesh with plymouth emblem were for the other furies. never seen one without anything. the thing is, what if the sport fury was optioned with a rear speaker, was the mesh substituted?
Yeah, I've been trying to figure it out but haven't found any documentation or reasonable explanation yet. My car does have a rear speaker but it is in the package tray, the one with nothing also appears to have a speaker in the package tray. Trev's is a vert so that would make sense for a vert to have the rear speaker behind the mesh one but I believe I've seen the mesh one in a hard top also but can't be sure.

I'm about 5 years too late to be able to ask him any questions, but his life paints a very compelling story of the man who sat down and ordered a Jamaica blue Super Commando 383 powered Sport Fury.
What a truly interesting man, I'm honored to be caretaker to his automobile.

With the 318 off the stand I moved my 383 onto it, I sort of assembled the 383 for now, the valve covers I got from a friend a few years ago, I don't know the story, but they have been plated by the looks of them, their pretty neat.
Picked up an intake for the 383 today.
Also picked up some 15x6.5 rims for the car, however a friend mentioned he was after this style, and had some M body 15x7's if I was interested, so I offered to trade him for those, I just wanted a wider rim then the original 15x5's

I put that intake on my Polara 500, better flow that the one supposed to be on it.
Correct one for my car, I could Rob what I need from my car, but I'd rather keep the original engine complete so I can document it completely

I'm pretty sure the engine isn't original, it was a Jan 65 block, and the car was built in Dec 66. Everything else I returned to stock, which isn't my style.
Funny enough the block I have is a 66.
