This car was originally purchased by Al Simon, a Television Producer. His career spanned the 1950s and 1960s, and produced some of the most remembered television shows in history, such as "I Love Lucy," "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show," "Mister Ed," "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Petticoat Junction," and "Green Acres." In the 1940s, he helped to invent the three-camera system for television production. He was also president of Filmways Productions.
