Dunno........no pics of the underside or the tag, he did not say what cond the top was in or how lnog it has been down, which is bad if it's been awhile. And if it needs a top, then 10.5 is a bit high.

got to see the underside, just got to. you guys got any pals in the Atlanta/jasper, GA area?

So what you're saying is we might as well stop looking for cars to buy because all the fer'ners are going to outbid you anyway.

Looking more and more like a no-go.......guy does not want to take pics, and I do not feel like spending 2-300$ for an appraiser, if I can even find one in that area. He seems peeved that I don't totally trust what he is saying. Well doh!

And the top has been down for awhile and it is new. Now what do you suppose is going to happen when that top is put back up and pulled tight?

That's a red flag IMHO if the guy doesn't want to provide more pics...esp. of the underside. Must not be that motivated to sell it. Give him a few weeks to simmer, might find he ready to deal.

If you buy that we are going to harass you to swap out that black interior. :)

I like how it looks in th epics, maybe something can be worked out.

The seller probably knows why he doesn*t want prospective buyers to see the undercarriage before or is he really too lazy to bend over for 10 g ?

Well, condition-wise, it looks to be abt what I want.....a decent driver, I do not want to fret over minor scratches, etc, it isn't worth it. Of course, I've got to consider the price relative to the condition, plus $300 to have someone look @ the car, plus abt $600 to get it here, plus the paperwork due to me needing a notarized BOS, etc.

Why can't one of these damned cars be close enough that I could go check it out myself?

What do you need an appraiser for? With the money for the appraiser and shipping you could look at it yourself. One day down and one day back. There's enough pictures of it posted to make a decision. By the looks of it, I doubt if there is any surprises of the undercarriage. I'm sure the guy is serious and would tell you if there was a problem since he would know you were coming down to look at it with cash in hand. Take a weekend trip down with a trailer and look at it. Buy it, trailer it home.

I agree, Atlanta isn't that far from you. The car certainly looks worthy enough to invest a couple of days to go look if your serious. Face to face and cash on the hood seems to work well also.... Buy his lunch and make an offer.

It's a good looking car and worth a look. Check out some of the other cars he's got there.

There we go again, telling other people how best to spend THEIR money... ;)

I wouldn't buy any car unseen by my own eyeballs. Pay somebody else for THEIR opinion of a car and be totally unsatisfied with the car when it shows up? :(

Probably priced well too....
20 grand but I say you won't find another one that nice.
So, is it cheap? Hell no.
But the saying goes, the only one for sale is the cheapest one you'll find....

Red/black/white...
All the options
NEVER registered!!!!!
You could take a beautiful $10k one and another $10k into it and still probably not make it as nice. (OR ORIGINAL)
