looks like only holes in the carpet, not the floor

They look intentional because it goes from carpet to floorpan without any frayed edges or sloping down towards the center.

Just strictly looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like its in that bad of shape..has normal wear and tear, although I'd want to know what the story is with the holes in the carpeting.
