Drove by this lot today and wish I had had more time to stop. The Dart caught my eye first and then I saw the Polara.

RUN FORREST RUN..... ok, its a 1970, with a 1971 Grille , a 1969 Polara dash pad and a whole lot of top heavy parts that just do absolutely nothing for the car.............I wouldnt even want it at two grand

Yes, that sounds more like it. I went to the Power Big Meet show in Västerås, Sweden on 2008. Fantastic show, biggest American car show outside of the US so its said. The classic American car scene there has a subculture of really crappy looking, worn out cars owned and driven (how they are road legal is beyond me) mainly by young people - looked it up, part of the “raggar” subculture I believe. Saw one late '50s Cadillac there - original faded paint, no carpet, and seats were just the metal frames with springs, I mean no fabric/material WHATSOEVER. Sore on the arse I would imagine. Rust meant the door skins were flapping in the breeze. Fantastically crappy looking. These people also mainly listen to US '50s Rockabilly music, and were blaring it out of this wreck when I saw it driving around later in the evening.
