Holbrook, huh? My wife has a brother who lives there. Stopped by last year. You were definitely out in the middle of nowhere! lol

Just got home! 1,116 miles. Even with the short list of issues that did happen along the way, really not that bad at all. The engine ran great the entire trip. Very smooth and plenty of power. Thanks to everyone here for the encouraging words and wisdom. I'm so happy to be amongst a group of such knowledgeable people. It really helped me keep going with a smile the whole time. I also met so many interesting and helpful people along Route 66. Luke, Sam, Nick, Xzavier, on and on... I couldn't have done it without you. And most of all, I'd like to thank my wife for her patience and understanding. It was a trip I will never forget!

Not yet, I just got home and it's late. Going try to take a look at what goodies are in there tomorrrow morning if I have time.

Good that you made it home safe and had an adventure along the way. Don't try this to get into your trunk though...

Thanks for the reports on your trip. Look forward to the next steps.
Glad that you made it home safe and thank you for sharing your story and your adventure. Given the unknowns and the length of your trip it looks like you have a good running car. Keep in mind that 440's don't always like to be shut off in the heat and restarted soon after. They really get heat soaked and need the water pump turning at more than an idle to get them cooled back down.
