With fees and tax it was probably around $1800 total if it did sell for $1050. If it’s going to Ohio as a non runner, $1000 is a fair shipping estimate. Still, $2800 for that car? Good price in my eyes.

I watched the live auction. High bid was $1050.

That’s unfortunate. Motor looks like it went scuba diving at the Salt Lake. I’d be down for buying it if it wasn’t seized.

Also curious how the engine bay looks that bad yet the rest of the body doesn’t seem to have any major rusting.

Still looks like a decent car for the money, for someone with a used engine to install, and a set of trimrings and caps.

Providing that whatever corroded the engine bay hasn't rusted it thin underneath.

I kinda wish this car would work its way toward IN. I have a spare '70 440 that would be perfect if the interior and steel on this car are, indeed, still near perfect. But it's probably a bullet being dodged.
