That broadcast sheet looks like it was used as scratch paper for the notes on the back. I would be surprised if there wasn't another BS with info somewhere.

Mine was in the rear seat back. I had another on the bottom of the passenger bucket. Seats are the most common place to find BS's but I've heard they may also be taped or placed on the back side of glove boxes and under carpets and above the headliner. I'm sure others have other suggestions of where to look.

Thank you. This one came from the rear seat back.

DL27 and L2X9 I understand. What about 854?

If you lower the front 3/4 to 1 inch with the torsionbars it will look better…..
Nice car!!

Took the car back to Smitty's Contemporary Automotive at lunch time today. As planned, I was dropping it off till Saturday for final fettling (replace a couple of light bulbs, re-install the remanufactured wiper motor, adjust the brakes, and fine-tune the choke).

Here are a couple more photos, next to an early Mustang.

Have not been on this thread for a bit...but Rolled in to Smitty's around 930 last night to pick up a windshield for a friend on my way back from Myrtle Beach (brutal ride back!) Walked in to his shop and the first thing that caught my eye was.....Your Car!!!
Not often you read about something and then out of no where it appears. Been Horse Trading with Smitty since the early 90's....absolutely a great guy with an awesome shop!
So glad you found him!!!....and really glad I got to see your car in person....very very Nice!!!

Thank you! If you'd come in seven hours earlier, we'd have met -- I dropped my car off at Contemporary around 2:30 yesterday!

Damn...would have liked that...maybe my next time through!
maybe do some more horse trading down the road.....with Smitty if I can't find a home for my Sport Fury....but spending any money on it right now is no where near in my future...

I realize that I have not shown much of the inside. Here are three photos I took at Smitty's on April 29. He gets the credit for how nice it looks (AFAIK, everything is original inside the car).

These two pictures (one just above, the other just below) also show the roof mechanism (original, too).

3-speed wiper and a basic AM radio (which works!), but no clock. The next photo shows the difference in texture and color between the top and bottom "wood" veneers.

PS: Unfortunately, the size of the original pics is too large for posting, so some quality was lost when reducing the file size.

Big enough when you click on a picture...…..:)

interieur is in very nice conditon.
But you have to love the styling of the 69/70 Dodge dashboard.

Not my favorite dash honestly to say it nicely

I am not fond of them but appreciate them for the car not my opinion . I just cant bring myself to swap it out.

Here are a few pictures of the engine bay taken yesterday evening. Had a slight coolant leak, those original clamps are not great -- fixed now.

The master cylinder sticks out like a sore thumb to my eyes -- we needed the brakes working right away when starting the work in March, and I did not specify at the time that I wanted OEM or OEM-look. I kept the old one, so it may get remanufactured at some point.

Comments welcome as always -- good or bad.

PS: the photos look way better on my computer than on the site -- pic quality is lost after uploading. Any compression going on?

You sure are having fun with this one! I love it when a car gets a forever home. Pics look great. If the MC works, close the hood and drive.

Just my 2 pennies, of course.

:)

Thank you, I am!

Right now, I am still in debugging mode -- after 32+ years sitting and notwithstanding a thorough fettling, that's to be expected. The good news is, the only way to find any bug is to drive the car -- and guess who is doing that?
I've already put 500 miles on her since I got her back from the shop... :steering:

I love the original clamps.
But When I remove something I always use "new" reproductions.
And usually new hoses because otherwise something will start to leak

The hoses are all new. So are the clamps. For some reason, the lower hose ended up leaking slightly at both ends. Right now, as a temp fix, I have non-OEM style clamps. Will show you at Carlisle.

It's almost Spring, so guess what -- I used my 'vert as a DD yesterday. Three nice long trips, mix of city and parkway driving. Here is a picture of her parked outside for the first time this year.

That was the last 70 Polara convertible bargain, oddly enough it was the most expensive one at one time.
