1971-1973 C-Body Sunroof Cars

Thanks Glenn! I am wondering if the car you are talking about could be the White 2dr Imperial that is on the 1972 page without a picture. It was on Craigslist in the Philly area in July of 2014. Here is the ad description:

1972 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron - $3000 (Telford )

condition: fair

1972 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron odometer: 87 000 paint color : white size : full-size type : coupe drive : rwd fuel : gas transmission : automatic title status : clean cylinders : 8 cylinders

For sale is a numbers matching 1972 Chrysler Imperial. It has 87000 miles on the odometer. Car is a 2 door with a power sunroof and power windows, ABS brakes, air conditioning, am/fm radio. Only 30 cars left the factory with a sunroof! Car needs restoration does not run. 440 with a 727 torque flight. Cash only will not deliver you must pick up. Thanks for looking.

Did Mopar make any Fusie or Formal sunroof wagons?
1978 NYB,
Sunroofs were not supposed to be available on station wagons - but the Fury wagon on the 1972 page above is supposedly legit. It claims to have a broadcast sheet that verifies the sunroof install. I have not seen the sheet myself tho...

The sunroof wagon was one I regret not buying 20 years ago. It seems like it is perpetually for sale with the price going up each time.

The sunroof is legit.

This St Regis with sun roof has been for sale two years just out side Iola Wi. Bit pricy but each year it comes down a K !!

Thanks for looking.[/QUOT It must be the same car! This one was shown in yellow with the vinyl top off, he said his dad changed it from white to yellow. He said the new owner was very happy to buy it, so hopefully it found a good home!

Scot. Yes it must be, I dout there were two sun roof 72s in the same area at the same time for sale !!

Yeah, the descriptions were pretty darn close - so I thought that might be a possibility. Thanks for your help! Hopefully the new owner gets on it - and it shows up at a car show sometime soon. Scott.

That car is brings back memories of my St. Regis that burned up while parked next to a mobile home. Except for the dark interior and wheel choice, its the same car. Still have some pieces of it in the shop, thanks for posting it up.

Anyone know of the whereabouts of a nice white leather interior for one of these?
