Totally confused. I thought he was being coy. :)

I just found the green '70 440 convertible in Medicine Hat again listed on Kijiji. It seems perpetually for sale.

the car in medicine hat would prob be sold if it weren't in canada......I've spoken to 2 guys from Finland who are/were interested in it. And the color stinks!

The color isnt bad, the interior needs to be changed. How is the lack of rust on that car? Thats what matters

Sorry guys, but I can smell some parochialism here. It's not good in a Mopar community like this where the interest to old Mopars should be connecting people regardless of their nationality, sex, race, religion or political orientation

Please open your eyes wide open and see World as it is today, it's much smaller than 10, 20, 30 or over 400 years ago when the Europeans started to inhabit the North American continent and pushing the Native Americans away from their land. Many current Americans have European roots and forefathers. We all are citizens of this Blue Planet, the Earth and that triple black Monaco was not sold to aliens. It still exists and will be pampered like a new born baby, so what does it matter if it's over the pond or on the other side of the continent. In this scene of classic car hobby we are today having global markets instead of national markets like it used to be in the past. Live in the time.

Sincerely

Spoken like a true european!

After all where would American car design in the 50s have been without the Fins ? :)

To my knowlege a very dedicated crowd of car enthusiasts, not only with Mopars (maybe Autoengineer can approve of that there are supposed to be about seven 300 Hursts in Finland, probably more than in the rest of Europe), also had a most helpful conversation with one guy over there concerning a limited production Weber carb setup on 60s Opels, NOONE in Germany, the country where these cars were produced and mostly sold cares about or deals with.

Guess I'm old fashioned but I respectfully disagree with that entire statement. Good or bad I see these old Chryslers/Mopars (..and Ford/GM) as pieces of "Americana".....tangible parts of a large societal "quilt" that is a construct of our heritage, and this "quilt" contributes and tells the story of the american experience. I don't believe this could have happened anywhere else in the world, which is why I would prefer them (cars) stay here. This does NOT mean I have a personal vendetta against those who are not American, so please don't read that into my statement, but I consider myself American first.

I'll say it.
I want the cars to stay here out of pure personal greed (in the monetary sense) on my part.
Anyone have a problem with that?
I'm not waving the good 'ol American flag. I'm watching out for yours truly.
As far as I'm concerned right now....

Thanks, you guys I truly believe that, no bunk......however, I think I'm in for a premium hosing from every body else. Battan down the hatches.

I am tired of running around your circles, you make these riddles and expect us to follow along. Figure out the words and the meanings, then try to be clever
