It's a 1970, not a 1971. At almost $1.4k US, and with dings all over the place, it looks overpriced unless the interior is spotless. In the absence of interior pics, I'll assume the interior's not pristine... Thanks for posting.

At USD 1,375 + shipping from Canada? I think not.

For benchmark, I know for a fact that $550 last fall bought a 1970 Monaco 2dr parts car with similar rust, but with way fewer dings. The bumpers and brightwork were in much better shape than on this car. To boot, that now-parted car had a rare option in decent shape and the engine was a running 383-2. Unless this one's interior is in great shape (which I doubt), this one is vastly overpriced.

PS: This car is a Canadian Monaco, so the engine and trim are somewhat different from the US Monaco (example here). That may boost or lower the car's appeal, depending on the buyer's needs.

For an idea of the market here in Canuck land, an 8.75 gear chunk sells for $100+, big block 727 is a $150-200 core, 383 as a long block is a $500+ motor...

I've turned down 3 parts cars this year I felt were over priced, I'm tired of losing money on parts cars...

What a beauty she must have been in her glory days. I guess I get to emotional about these old girls. At least she’s safe being in that area. I’m starting to hear rumors about a possible Cash for clunkers round 2 coming up in the fall. This time around their claiming they will run it for an entire year! I hope it’s not true because there is a lot at stake here for classic car enthusiasts.

As has been stated here before, the last (only) national C4C had a cutoff year of 1995-ish (don't remember the exact year) and they had to be plated/insured for X months prior to the program. The reason being that the so-called goal was removing cars that were in daily use. The percentage of even 1980s cars in daily use is incredibly small. Classics will be safe.
