What was the consensus as to why this one has not sold? Looks like a lot of moisture has been in the interior, so I am assuming rust on the car that is significant?

IMHO, not near as nice as it looks and it hasn't been registered in his name since he bought it 20 some odd years ago. If some one bought it in maine, and registered it in maine that would be the easy way out. It has never been, nor would it now be a title car, that scares a lot the folks " from away"

The title isnt an issue in this state, a bonded title is available. I have sent him an email asking for pics of rust areas, we shall see what comes back.

lower roof by back window and wide body trim would be the photos you want

Ralph, is Dave looking for offers? or is his price pretty firm?

As far as I know his price is firm. He paid that for it when he bought it aND wants that now. He got it from stone and Irish in minot. Do you remember them? If you do some of your questions will be answered.

I am NOT familiar with them....please do tell what that implies !!

That was the place to get a used car ready for the lot quick and cheap. If you stood back 100' and squinted it looked great. This car looks great at a glance, but 20 years ago it had a partial repaint and if I remember correctly had been hit on the passenger side. It originally came from the county.

Last time this was listed you said you were going to go look at it. Did you, and aside from the title, what else scared you? Looking for a 300 but may have to settle. Any info would help, thanks for your time. Kevin

I did go look. I already have a project car I like better. The roof und er the vinyl bothered me the most. The car has a lot of potential, but I can only do one at a time. I think the price is fair myself, but there is a lot of work there. He is a good guy and won't give bad info.

is the rust just below the rear window?
Or at the seam of the roof on the c-pillar?
Or also around the A-pillar?
Or above the front windshield?
Or even in the center of the roof ?

It's under the window and near the base of the c pillar.
As a side note keep in mind this car has the lack of a 318.
