I am finding it hard to choose between the 2 of them . But I'm swaying to the turquoise one it look a bit more fresher BUT" :yaayy:

When you start driving a car that has that foam disintegrating on the top of the back seat, all that goes into the air as you drive; especially with the windows down...have you ever got that crap in your eyes??? No, thanks! If this were mine, the interior would be gutted and redone, as a bare minimum, along with restoring A/C to the car. The external appearance is something I could live with for a while.

The turquoise car is nice, but I'd be more partial to this one, based on colors.

Not that hard to put the A/C back in...most of it probably had to be replaced or rebuilt anyways.

I'd like to see something heftier than a 360 under that long hood for asking $3900 bucks, but push come to shove I'd take it. A few cosmetic fixes for the road and a nice driver there. Lots of friends would be made with that at gas stations, supermarket parking lots, car washes, shows, etc.

YOU REALLY NEED to drive a 71 360 C body then fight that fight

I'd drive it. I couldn't wait to get the seats fixed, not even a day. Both my cars were a/c from the factory, but I doubt they will ever have a working system while I own them. Wing vents work just fine, and if they don't, I always have the vents in the kick panels. Both combined I've found is too much airflow for me, even on the most humid of hot summer days. But to each his own. And I'd drive the turquoise car too, even on rainy days.

After suffering the muggy heat here yesterday, and an absolutely shite night's sleep, I have had a re-think: For Pete's sake man, put the AC back in! OH THE HUMANITY!!!
I've got 3 jackets on its pissing and freezing here .Want a swop :icon_silent:

My 70 Custom Suburban has factory air that still works. Today it's -10 with a windchill of -35, so it will be at least 3 months before I have a potential chance or need to use it. The wagon will only be used for car shows (during those 5 months the AC might be used 10 times). I plan on leaving the compressor harness disconnected, and only hooking it up on the days it's needed. One of the upsides of only driving the wagon 5 months a year here is that it won't be rusting out in my lifetime. My Dad's 70 Custom Suburban was not afforded that luxury (no AC) and was driven year round here for 10 years (even at the long distance of this photo you can see the rust through above the rear wheels).

Dang, is that rust around the rear wheel arch?

Yes, completely disintegrated. The salt they load the roads up here with in the winter is a real car killer. But the paint on the parts of the wagon that did not rust, shined like new, even after 10 years.

Love that bottom picture.

Yes, he has added some different pix to the add (body damage, headliner, cracked windscreen, bottom of RHS front fender, better view of front seat), and attempted to cover the top of the rear seat.

Anyone willing to inspect it?
