That isn't close to the same condition. But I am all for it if someone can save it. I would like to hear it is a 440 car. Has anyone asked for the VIN ?

Take the wheels off and set it on bricks and its actually very close. I would say there is more salvageable interior in the squad then my Brougham had. If that car was somewhat close id be filling up some roller tires and heading out for my next mistake.

Will he not even answer a few basic questions? I can understand him not wanting to go through alot of trouble for 150.00$. Which is just slightly more than scrap value. Perhaps if you offered to double the price, that could get you some answers? I see alot of good parts, not the greatest car. I am suspicious of that front bumper, not a single ding and former (assumed) police car?
Was there a Polara "Special"? Or is that a way of saying it used to be a police car? I can't make out the rectangular badge on the quarter, looks like a "custom" plate.

He doesn't wanna deal with me since I'm not Canadian. Wyatt can give him some BS to find out I presume. I did ask and he wasn't telling.

That rectangular badge is a special. The Custom would be in script. Not many Specials built...
I'd almost prefer an N code ..

You're closer than me ... go

Wheels, fender, bezel ...

IDK what your restoration desires are... but you'd be the top pick as a parts finder for the model, Wyatt is a close second by appearances these days.

I inquired and asked if it was an ex cop car and was told it was a regular car.VIN is DS41G1Dxxxxxx.

The 'S' is odd since the car appears pretty plain with minimal trim.

Just as an aside, many years ago I briefly owned a 71 Polara ex-Calgary police car with a 318 and manual steering.Like so many others,I wish I had the space to keep it at the time as it was an awesome road car that drove great but I had too many cars and not enough space to keep them.

There used to be one like it at B&G Wreckers in Weyburn SK. It was a Weyburn City police car that was a small block car. I never paid any attention to the VIN but it only had a regular 120 speedo which surprised me given it was a police car.

Dave, one for you Sir, plenty of '71 Dodge footage in this 1974 featurette, "Police Pursuit":

I use "commentary driving" here in Orlando ALL the time... "... this stupid ahole thinks their turn signal is optional, oh goodie, another left turn from the right lane, this moron is texting, but will try to race you once you can finally pass. Oboy, another scumbag driving without a license or insurance... you can tell by the way they stop dead in traffic to avoid getting in front of the cop. AND there goes another fine LEO passing traffic on the shoulder with their lights off... guess the donuts are still warm somewhere. oh goodie, the idiot in the left turn lane has stopped traffic because they just really wanted to pass the folks in the straight lane and view themselves as more the only person on the road who matters. There goes another dhead who thinks a 4 stop only applies to everyone else..."

Oof!Best to pay somebody to take off a few choice parts and crush the rest.To much missing and it,s not a 2 door.No drive train.Heh.Goodluck.B.B

I saw one the other day that was in the far left of a double left turn lane, change his/her mind to go right on the boulevard by cutting across 3 lanes in front of me and the bus to the right and ahead of me. Little sheetbox jap car. Got plenty of horn from me and the bus, but didn't even phase'em. Must'a been late for the Yoga class.
